การประเมินสถานะด้านการคุ้มครองทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาของไทย

การประเมินสถานะด้านการคุ้มครองทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาของไทย ภายใต้กฎหมายการค้าสหรัฐฯ มาตรา 301 พิเศษ รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ (นายภูมิ สาระผล) เดินทางเข้าพบและหารือกับ นาย Demetrios รองผู้แทน การค้าสหรัฐฯ และนาง Barbara Weisel ผู้ช่วยผู้แทนการค้าสหรัฐฯ พร้อมด้วยอธิบดีกรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาและผู้บริหาร กรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา เมื่อวันที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2555 ณ กรุงวอชิงตัน ดีซี สหรัฐอเมริกา เพื่อให้ข้อมูลความคืบหน้าการ ดำ เนินงานด้านทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาของไทยในช่วงปีที่ผ่านมา สำ หรับให้สหรัฐฯ ใช้ประกอบการประเมินสถานะด้านการ คุ้มครองทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาของไทย ภายใต้กฎหมายการค้าสหรัฐฯ มาตรา 301 พิเศษ และผลักดันให้สหรัฐฯ ถอดไทย จากบัญชีประเทศที่ต้องจับตามองเป็นพิเศษ (PWL)

U.S. Appraisal of Protection by Thailand of Intellectual Property under the Special 301 Provisions of the United States Trade Act. On 14th February 2012, Deputy Minister of Commerce (Mr. Phoom Saraphol) together with Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property and other executives of the Department met with Mr. Demetrios Marantis (Deputy United States Trade Representative) and Mrs. Barbara Weisel (Assistant United States Trade Representative) in Washington D.C. for giving and update on operations by Thailand in connection with intellectual property over recent years for the purpose of the ‘Special 301 provisions’ of the United States Trade Act in the hope that the USTA would consider a removal of Thailand from the Priority Watch List (PWL).
